Completed!

Double the Building…

From the beginning, Pittsboro Christian Village has offered a variety of living accommodations—freestanding cottages and patio homes, apartments, and assisted living. As times change—along with the lifestyles of our residents—we have taken steps to adjust.

About ten years ago, we started the systematic renovation of the cottages, with the idea of allowing residents to live longer in them before migrating to the apartments. As a new phase of this process, we are beginning to replace (rather than renovate) some of the cottages.

Recently, we completed two single-floor townhomes. These provide for more floor space and greater accessibility. Lord willing, this approach will become a prototype for new development, as we continue to anticipate the future demands of our residents. As always, it is our desire to provide a comfortable community in which people can age in place—in fellowship with likeminded believers.

We value your prayers for future building projects, as well as for the overall direction of Pittsboro Christian Village.

Thanksgiving Feast

A lovely time for all!

Thanksgiving is always a great time at Pittsboro Christian Village. The residents and guests enjoy a full Thanksgiving dinner together, with all the trimmings! Because we are a family, the dinner is served family style (as are all dining room meals). But for Thanksgiving, the executive staff and volunteers are the carvers and servers. It’s a blessed time of Thanksgiving for all!

Feasting and Fellowship!

The next best thing to home cooking.

We prepare our meals like we’re preparing food for our own family. Residents gather around tables in our dining room for family-style breakfast, dinner, and supper. Our kitchen staff seeks out the best available ingredients and prepares a variety of menus over the course of each week. For residents with restricted diets, we even offer gluten-free and sugar-free dessert options.
