We consider our residents a family, and Pittsboro Christian Village their home. Our caring and compassionate staff does everything we can to make this a safe, comfortable place. We do whatever we can to lessen life’s burdens with services such as meals, maintenance, transportation, housekeeping, planned events … as well as resources for exercising body, mind, and spirit.
Our care is a continuum, in which we care for each resident in many ways and through the changes in their lives and circumstances. Ideally, a resident would begin life at Pittsboro Christian Village in one of our homes or independent living apartments. The apartments are designed to allow residents to continue living independently, yet without burdens such as meal preparation, maintenance, and housekeeping. And residents have access to a senior manager 24 hours a day.
In our Care Home (a licensed North Carolina Adult Care Home), we do everything in our power to allow you to stay here until the Lord takes you home.
We provide assistance for residents with chronic care needs excluding 24-hour skilled nursing care. Assisted Living services include helping a resident with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) in accordance with the resident’s personal physician’s care plan. Basic categories of ADLs are Hygiene (bathing, grooming, shaving, and oral care), Continence, Dressing, Eating, Toileting (assistance in using a restroom), and Transferring (actions such as going from seated to standing position and getting in and out of bed). We also provide the service of medication administration.
