We're Close To Everything
Pittsboro Christian Village is an active place, with active people. So it’s important that our residents have access to the rest of the world. Many of our residents enjoy travel and sight seeing (some regularly travel to other countries).
The North Carolina beaches are only two hours away from Pittsboro Christian Village. And you can be in the scenic North Carolina mountains in about three hours.
Each spring the village takes a day trip with our residents. We’ve gone to Ft. Fisher on the coast, where we visited the North Carolina aquarium. A recent trip was to the Billy Graham library in Charlotte, NC. And one trip residents are still talking about is the journey to a simpler time—Mount Airy, North Carolina, the town on which the fictional town of Mayberry is modeled in television’s The Andy Griffith Show.
Life is good at Pittsboro Christian Village, in part because the rest of the world is so accessible from here.
