Gerald Baker, Jr.
Executive Director
Gerald Baker has been our Executive Director since 2006. He and his wife Kim are commended to this work by Fayetteville Bible Chapel, Fayetteville, NC. Kim is an integral part of the Continuing Care Retirement Community, overseeing volunteers, and assisting with special events and various hospitality activities. Gerald and Kim have four children. Their oldest son is currently serving with the evangelistic team of Good News on the Move.Â
Before coming to Pittsboro Christian Village, Gerald served as a commissioned officer in the United States Army. He has a bachelors degree from North Georgia College. Gerald is passionate about ensuring that our residents are provided the best care, both physically and spiritually. He is involved in ministry at Pittsboro Bible Assembly and also speaks at other nearby churches.
David McBurnett
Director of Resident Care
David McBurnett came to Pittsboro Christian Village in July, 2005 and serves as the Director of Resident Care for our Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) and Administrator for the Care Home. In 1991 David came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior, and shortly afterwards felt led to the health care field, especially to minister to the aged. He graduated in 1996 from Sandhills Community College as a Licensed Practical Nurse and began his career as a nurse. In 1999 David received his Assisted Living Administrator’s license for Adult Care Homes in North Carolina and has worked in that capacity since then.
Cecile Ford
Director of Dining Services
Cecile Ford has served as the Director of Dining Services since January, 2009. She came to us from Parkway Chapel in Winston-Salem, NC and has been in happy fellowship with similar assemblies since the Lord saved her in 1984. Previously, Cecile has served as Director of Dining Services at Bible Colleges in Maryland and North Carolina, and at a Bible Camp in North Carolina, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to Pittsboro Christian Village. She is certified as a Food Service Manager in North Carolina. She loves to bring joy in peoples lives, especially to elderly, and this gift is maximized in the dining experience at Pittsboro Christian Village.
