Here's What's Coming Up...

Event: PCV Day of Continual Prayer
Time: 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Details: Calling all prayer warriors! The residents and staff of PCV will be observing a day of continual prayer here at Pittsboro Christian Village. The Auditorium will be set up for small prayer groups, and a sign-up sheet available for those willing to commit to at least a half hour of prayer. As the groups and/or individuals come and go throughout the day, our goal is for there to be continual prayer before the Throne of Grace for eight hours straight. Will you join us for this important day of praising the Lord and confessing our total dependency on Him?

Event: PCV Wear a Smile Day
Time: All Day
Details: In recognition of National Smile Week (August 2-6) we will observe "Wear a Smile Day" at Pittsboro Christian Village. So, no matter what is going on let's just smile. It may improve our outlook for the day and encourage our friends and loved ones. Turn that frown upside-down and confuse the enemy who goes about seeking whom he may destroy.

Event: Care Home Ice Cream Social
Time: 3:30pm
Details: I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! In June we had a special ice cream social for our loved ones residing in our Care Home. It was such a hit we're going to do it again. It's a cool treat that just can't be beat.

Event: Birthday & Anniversary Party
Time: 2:45pm
Details: The Village family will gather on August 13th to recognize the birthdays of our residents and staff members during the months of July, August and September. Join us in the Dining Room for a celebration complete with food, fun and fellowship.

Event: Talent & Fun Night
Time: 6:30pm
Details: It's almost time for our annual Talent & Fun night at Pittsboro Christian Village. Our residents, staff members and hopefully some Village friends will gather in the Auditorium to showcase and enjoy special talents, funny stories, skits and/or other items of interest. The Talent & Fun Night has been a success for the past several years so come on out and get your smile and laughter workout. "A merry heart does good, like medicine." Proverbs 17:22
